Search for Your Behavioral Health Liaison(s)
Youth Behavioral Health Liaisons (YBHLs)
These behavioral health professionals are employed by Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) across the state. They support youth experiencing behavioral health challenges by connecting them to vital services within their communities.
YBHLs are effective because they focus on building strong relationships
with community partners, youth, and their families. This collaborative
approach creates a network of behavioral and community support
services, creating a safety net for youth and/or families.
Referrals:
- Schools
- Law Enforcement
- Juvenile Office
- Children’s Division
- State Agencies
- Courts
Reasons for a referral include, but are not limited to:
- Youth experiencing a mental health or substance use
challenge - Change in behavior
- Expressing threats to self or others
- Youth and/or a family in need of access to the community
and/or behavioral health services
